The challenge is to defeat the Robot Arm in the old skill game the nerve or shiver spiral. The idea is to run a ring from one end to the other along a wire without touching that wire. When the challenger with the ring touches the wire, a light comes on and the buzzer sounds. The score is also kept on the digital counters. This game on 9V batteries tests the hand-eye coordination and the fine motor skills of the player, but actually shows why some tasks are better performed by robots
