DOBOT Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge - Ecohero Challenge
In this way we simulate the production scene in intelligent manufacturing, and the intelligent program controls the cooperation between the robot and the intelligent car to complete the loading, unloading and sorting of materials. After the intelligent unmanned trolley is transported according to the material category, it is unloaded to the corresponding areas.
Competition Site for Primary School Group
The competition site is 1400mm (L) × 1400 mm (W) and is divided into a garbage bin placement area, garbage storage area, and robot placement area. The bin placement area is made up of 4 areas with the size of 80mm × 80mm. The garbage storage area is fan shaped and is ma de up of 16 grid areas with the size of 25mm × 25mm. The robot placement area is 160mm×160mm. The garbage placement area will have hazardous waste bin, recyclable garbage bin, dry garbage bin and wet garbage bin.
4 types of garbage are replaced by building blocks (hereinafter referred to as “blocks”) with the size of 25mm × 25mm × 25mm. During the competition, the color of the blocks must be consistent and there should be no obvi ous differences in appearance. All the teams will be offered stickers with garbage illustration. The types and quantities of the 16 garbage are distributed as follows: 3 hazardous waste, 4 dry garbage, 4 we t garbage , and 5 recyclable garbage.
The Ecohero Challenge (Primary School Group)
The Ecohero Challenge (Primary School Group) is loosely based on the intelligent waste classification system and simulates the intelligent waste classification system workflow. Contestants shall control a sorting robot through programming or a game controlle r in orde r for it to grab and sort four types of domestic waste: hazardous waste, recyclable garbage, dry garbage, and wet garbage. Contestants should complete the task within 3 minutes and the referee will calculate the score to determine the winner.
Teams need to complete the following tasks:
1). Automatic Control by Programming Session:
During this 3 minute session, contestants need to program the robot to grab 16 blocks with 4 kinds of garbage labels in the competition site and place the block s in the correspond ing bin according to their types.
2). Manual Control by Game Controller Session:
During this 3 minute session, contestants need to control the robotic arm via the game controller in order for it to grab 16 blocks with 4 kinds of garbage labels in the compe tition site and place the blocks in the corresponding bin according to their types.
