  • DOBOT Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge - Ecohero Challenge

    In this way we simulate the production scene in intelligent manufacturing, and the intelligent program controls the cooperation between the robot and the intelligent car to complete the loading, unloading and sorting of materials. After the intelligent unmanned trolley is transported according to the material category, it is unloaded to the corresponding areas.

  • Competition Site for Middle School Group

    The competition site for middle school group is 2300mm × 1500mm and is divided into garbage storage area, garbage transit area, robot placement area, garbage collection area, vehicle starting area, and vehicle loading area. The garbage storage area is 200m m×150mm and allows 12 garbage to be randomly placed. The garbage transit area is 200mm × 140mm and transit area is 200mm × 140mm and the robot storage area 158mm × 158mm. There are 3 garbage recycling the robot storage area 158mm × 158mm.   • Garbage Description

    3 types of garbage are replaced by building blocks (hereinafter referred to as “blocks”) with the size of 25mm × 25mm × 25mm. There are 12 blocks for the competition task. The task card that says the specific positions of blocks and their corresponding types will be announced be fore the competition.

  • The Ecohero Challenge (Middle School Group)

    The Ecohero Challenge (Middle School Group) is loosely based on the intelligent waste classification system and simulates the intelligent waste classification system workflow. The system is made up of one robotic arm and one self driving vehicle. Contestants shall pr ogram and control the robotic arm and the vehicle in order to grab, move, recognize, transport, and unload 3 types of domestic waste. Contestants need to complete the task within 10 minutes and the referees will calculate the scores to determine the winner.

    Contestants need to complete the following tasks:

    1). Vehicle Starting:
    The vehicle must start from the vehicle starting area.

    2). Vehicle Loading:
    The vehicle will drive to the vehicle loading area along the patrol line and wait for the robotic arm to load.

    3). Garbage Moving:
    Blocks representing garage are only allowed in the grid area in the garbage storage area. Make the robotic arm grab blocks in the garbage storage area and place them on the tipping bucket of the vehicle. During this process, blocks must be recognized by devices with color sensing capabilities.

    4). Garbage Transporting:
    After the garbage is moved to the vehicle,
    the vehicle will drive along the black line to the corresponding garbage
    collection station as specified on the task card.

    5). Garbage Transit:
    If a team want s to transport multiple garage of the same type at one sitting, they must stack other types of garbage they have already grabbed in the garbage transit area. If the blocks are placed outside the transit are a, the subsequent tasks, even if finished, will score no points. For example, if the vehicle is tasked to transport only red blocks representing hazardous waste, the robotic arm will grab the blocksand let them be recognized as red (hazardous waste) by color sensor and lor sensor and plaplace them in the tipping bucket of the vehicle; stack those that have not ce them in the tipping bucket of the vehicle; stack those that have not been recognized as red in the garbage transit area.
